If only all scooters were this sexy - or if this were available here - I would start using one. Just look at the beautiful retro touches to the Vespa GTV 250 - those leather seats, the placing of the headlight. Stunning.
And equally stunning are these helmets, again from Vespa.
Chroma Lab is Boston-based duo Alicia Cornwell and Tony Bevilacqua whipping out some kickass home decor items, which are, as the name suggests, colourful. Like these two clocks here which I am absolutely in love with. Also check out their wonderful furniture in the Portfolio section.
Who would have thought that a less noisy aircraft could be a problem. But, apparently, it is. According to this article on Wired.com, the engines on this super-jumbo are so quiet that the other on-board sounds - flushing toilets, screaming babies and snoring passengers - are heard in their complete glory. So much so that Emirates pilots have complained they can't get to sleep during their breaks.
Modern, classic, elegant - all of that at once. This is the Concerto Table from the designers at Lovegrove & Repucci (which is Nicholas Lovegrove and Demian Repucci). What we see here is a dining table that takes its design cues from a classic baby grand piano, but it's evidently much sleeker. And if the prospect of not having to use your grand piano as a dining table is not tempting enough to get this Concerto Table, consider this: It also has an iPod dock (the modern twist!).
If album covers give you the same kind of kick that they give me, then chances are that you will love this particular website. Sleevage is one of the best collections of album art that I have personally come across. Check it out.
